Description: TAFE Illawarra is now offering a short course in a Fitness Bridging Program that will aid you in receiving the core units you need to cross from a Certificate III to Certificate IV in Fitness. In this course you will learn how to supply training as a personal trainer. This skill set will also give you 8 units that may go towards further study in the Sports and Coaching industry. 
Other requirements: All participants enrolling in to this course will require a Unique Student Identifier (USI) - www. usi.gov.au

About: This offering is designed for people who are working in the fitness industry and currently posses a CIII in Fitness obtained prior to 2016 and who would like to enrol in and complete the current CIV in Fitness SIS40215. If you do not possess SIS30315 CIII in Fitness you will need to complete the units contined in this course or complete SIS30315 CIII in Fitness before you are eligable to enter SIS40215 CIV in Fitness.

This course will involve RPL and skills gap training. Each week the teacher will review the evidence required to meet the requirements of each unit of comptence. Students will then be provided with time to collect and present the evidence as required. This may invovle production, retrieval and submission of workplace documents such as exercise session plans, maintenance schedules, client screening and fitness assessments. You may be required to complete knowledge and or practical assessments.

This has Nationally Recognised Units of Competency - SISFFIT001, SISFFIT002, SISFFIT003, SISFFIT004, SISFFIT005, SISFFIT006, SISFFIT014, SISXCCS001
