Description: TAFE NSW is offering a short course in Bar Skills that will give you the experience and confidence that you need to apply for the job you would like or start to gain experience in a career that you are interested in. In this course you will gain a Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA), a Responsible Conduct of Gambling (RCG) as well as training for working in a Bar environment. This skill set will also give you 4 units that may go towards further study in the Hospitality industry. 
Entry requirements: This course requires that you pay an external Licensing fee that will go to Liquor and Gaming NSW for the issue of your RSA and RCG licenses. At this time, this comes to $100 for both.
All participants enrolling in to this course will require a Unique Student Identifier (USI) - www. usi.gov.au 
Learning pathways: This short course will give you units that are included in many Hospitality Training Packages.

About: Volume of Learning:
Your learning commitment (known as the volume of learning) for this qualification is a minimum of 30 hours. This includes approximately 30 of face to face training.

You will be required to attend Thursday 9:00am-3:30pm (1 day per week). Days of attendance may vary subject to individual timetable if student has Recognition of Prior Learning.

Comments: This course is for students wanting to study Statement of Attainment in Bar Skills. This offering is not suitable for Apprentices. You must attend at 9:00 am at Cooma TAFE Campus, Building 8, Kitchen. Please bring evidence of any previous Hospitality Course results if you wish to apply for Recognition of Prior Learning. First day of attendance is Thursday 10 May 2018.
