Description: TAFE NSW is offering a short course in becoming a Tourism Ambassador. This may help give you the experience and confidence that you need to apply for the job you would like or start to gain experience in a career that you are interested in. In this course you will learn how to access and update information on facilities and services, identify needs and assist customers, promote products and services and seek customer feedback. This skill set will also give you 1 unit that may go towards further study in the Tourism, Travel and Hospitality industry.

This course will run for two days on Tuesday 7/3/17 and Tuesday 14/3/17. This will start at 10:00am to 2:00pm. Please confirm with your supervisor which group you will be required to attend. Please go to Wollongong Campus Block V, Room 5 Ground Floor.

This is Fully Government Subsidised training. Please note that external licencing fees apply to some courses.
To be eligible you must be:
- aged 15 years or older
- live or work in New South Wales
- have left school
- are an Australian citizen, permanent resident, humanitarian visa holder or New Zealand citizen To check your eligibility, call TAFE Illawarra staff on 1300 766 123 or visit the Training Services NSW website.
