Description: This one day workshop in Understanding Mental Health is aimed at those currently working in the health and community services sector and other similar sectors. This training will offer an understanding on how mental health can affect the lives of individuals and communities and provides a framework in which to respond.

About: This 5 hour workshop will be conducted on Tuesday 10 July at TAFE NSW, Wollongong Campus, Block A, Floor 2, Room A 2.19, 9.30am - 3.00pm.
Participants will gain insight into major mental health conditions, treatment options and referrals. You will learn about key values and principles of the mental health sector, including recovery oriented practice, duty of care and dignity of risk considerations.

This 5 hour workshop will be conducted on Tuesday 10 July at TAFE NSW, Wollongong Campus, Block A, Floor 2, Room A 2.19, 9.30am - 3.00pm.
 
Course fees: $100
Fee explanatory text: Please enrol and pay the fee at least 7 days prior to the start date to secure your place. Cancellations should be advised in writing more than 7 days prior to commencement of the course to be eligible for a full refund. For cancellations advised within 7 days of the course no refund will be made however a substitute delegate may attend. If a substitute delegate is to attend you must contact us before the course commences. There are no fee exemptions available for commercial courses. Course fees cannot be refunded to participants who are unable to attend for reasons beyond TAFE NSW control. TAFE NSW reserves the right to cancel a course if insufficient numbers and will endeavour to give participants as much notice as possible. Upon cancellation by TAFE NSW a full refund is made.
The fee for this course is $100.
