Description: This workshop is aimed at helping those employed in the hair and beauty industry understand the complex dynamics involved in domestic and family violence relationships and to recognise indicators of domestic violence in their clients and customers.

About: This 3 hour workshop will be conducted on Tuesday 29 May 2018 at TAFE NSW , Wollongong Campus, Block: A Floor: Second Room: 21 Time: 9:30am - 12:30pm.
This workshop is aimed at helping participants understand the complex dynamics involved in domestic and family violence relationships and to recognise indicators of domestic violence in clients / customers. The workshop will also include practical strategies about how to respond, what to say and how to refer to appropriate services. The information will help increase awareness of domestic and family violence and the impact it has on children. An overview of the mandatory reporting procedures will be included.

This 3 hour workshop will be conducted on Tuesday 29 May 2018 at TAFE NSW , Wollongong Campus, Block: A Floor: Second Room: 21 Time: 9:30am - 12:30pm.
Applying and enrolling: Before you enrol you must have a Unique Student Identifier (USI). If you don’t already have a USI, you can easily create one at https://www.usi.gov.au/students/create-your-usi. Once you have your USI, you can add TAFE Illawarra to your USI account via the Manager Permissions page on the USI website. Course fees: $60
Fee explanatory text: Please enrol and pay the fee at least 7 days prior to the start date to secure your place. The fee for this course is $60.00.
Cancellations should be advised in writing more than 7 days prior to commencement of the course to be eligible for a full refund. For cancellations advised within 7 days of the course no refund will be made however a substitute delegate may attend. If a substitute delegate is to attend you must contact us before the course commences. There are no fee exemptions available for commercial courses. Course fees cannot be refunded to participants who are unable to attend for reasons beyond TAFE NSW control. TAFE NSW reserves the right to cancel a course if insufficient numbers and will endeavour to give participants as much notice as possible. Upon cancellation by TAFE NSW a full refund is made.
