Description: This course requires a person operating a forklift truck to plan the work, conduct routine checks on a forklift truck, shift loads in a safe manner, and safely shut down and secure equipment after completing operations.
A person performing this work is required to hold a forklift truck high risk work (HRW) licence. 
Entry requirements: You must be over 18 years old before the assessment date.

About: This course is for people who wish to gain a (WorkCover) SafeWork High Risk Licence in Forklift (LF). The course includes 2 days training and 1 day of SafeWork (WorkCover) assessments comprising of both theory and practical.
Training will be on Wednesday 21 and Thursday 22 November, 8.00am - 4.00pm.
The Assessment will be on Friday 23 November, 8.00am - 4.00pm.

You must provide 100 points of identification at the start of the SafeWork (WorkCover) assessment including (1) form of current photo identification. To be able to attend the assessment you need to provide proof that you are over 18 years of age and that you live in NSW. A list of approved ID can be found on the SafeWork NSW website, www.safework.nsw.gov.au.

You will need to wear appropriate clothing including steel capped boots and hard hat. You must bring a pen, paper and calculator.

All learners studying qualifications are required to register for a Unique Student Identifier (USI) before enrolment. The USI is a Government initiative that will allow you to access all your training records in one place.
TAFE NSW requires your USI to complete your enrolment. To create your USI, follow the steps on the https://www.usi.gov.au/students/create-your-usi. It’s quick, free and you only need to do it once.

Fee explanatory text: This training is not subsidised by Government funding. There are no fee exemptions, concessions or subsidies available for this course.

Where Fee for Service is being sponsored by an employer or third party organisation an official purchase order or contract arrangement must be in place to activate the student’s enrolment.

Payment of course fee must be made PRIOR to commencement of learning activity.
