Description: TAFE NSW is offering a short course in Medication Administration for Enrolled Nurses that will give you the experience and confidence that you need to apply for the job you would like or gain experience in a career that you are involved in. In this course you will learn about administering medication and how to respond to client health information. This skill set will also give you 2 units that may go towards further study in the Health Services industry. 
Entry requirements: All participants enrolling in to this course will require a Unique Student Identifier (USI) - www. usi.gov.au 
Learning pathways: The units in this skill set can lead to further study in a variety of courses in the Health Training Package.

This course is for enrolled nurses registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). You must be working and be able to complete your workplace assessment tasks in your work place. You will also need to provide a letter confirming that you have the support of your workplace and that the workplace must be able to and willing to conduct workplace assessments by a Registered Nurse with a TAE40110 qualification. You will need to have access to a broad range of oral, IMI, SCI and IVI medications.

There will be a requirement for students to do additional work in their own time.
Applying and enrolling: Before you enrol you must have a Unique Student Identifier (USI). If you don’t already have a USI, you can easily create one at https://www.usi.gov.au/students/create-your-usi.
