Scheduled attendance: Apprentices will attend 6 blocks per year for 3 years consisting of 4 days per block. Thursday till Tuesday from 7.30am till 3.30pm in Block ”A” Floor G Room 1.

About: Semester 1 Information Week Monday, 21 January to Friday, 25 January 2019. Register your interest via TAFE NSW's Facebook page HERE Apprentice offering only. You may be eligible for the Fee Free Apprenticeship which will be verified at enrolment.

Your time commitment to achieve this qualification is a minimum of 2400 + hours.
This includes attendance for 30 hours per Block for 6 blocks a year over 3 years, approximately 140 hr of participation in workplace simulation at TAFE and participation in 400 hours tutorials of participation in Workplace learning.

You will need to allocate the remaining 1800 hours over the three years to engage in a range of directed activities and self-directed learning such as research and projects, field/industry visits, preparation of assessment tasks, learning support and online learning.
Should you fall behind your agreed schedule you will be required to complete additional work and learning outside scheduled class time.

Fee explanatory text: This training is subsidised by the NSW Government, and as a result your fee is determined through Training Services NSW formal eligibility criteria. This criteria will determine your exact fee. Students who meet additional specified criteria, may be eligible for a concession fee or a fee exemption. In claiming the concession or exemption students will be required to supply the required evidence to support the claim in accord with the requirements of Smart and Skilled eligibility.

Payment Plans are available through TAFE NSW for Smart and Skilled eligible qualifications.

To activate your eligibility you must pay the student fee component PRIOR to commencement of the learning activity.
