Students entering the course should have a keen interest in design and be ready to develop their creative flair. This course aims to teach students how to work positively with others, respond to changing circumstances, clarify ideas and communicate them clearly. The program covers a range of essential design techniques, media and technologies with a focus on Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.

Fee explanatory text: This training is subsidised by the NSW Government, and as a result your fee is determined through Training Services NSW formal eligibility criteria. This criteria will determine your exact fee. Students who meet additional specified criteria, may be eligible for a concession fee or a fee exemption. In claiming the concession or exemption students will be required to supply the required evidence to support the claim in accord with the requirements of Smart and Skilled eligibility.

Payment Plans are available through TAFE NSW for Smart and Skilled eligible qualifications.

To activate your eligibility you must pay the student fee component PRIOR to commencement of the learning activity.
Other information: You will be required to attend an information session on Wednesday 6th February 2019 at 11.00am, in the Design section (Q.2.5) at TAFE NSW Wollongong. This session will be used to explain the structure of the course, the timetable and student requirements. 
Comments: Class commences on Tuesday 12th February 2019, at TAFE NSW Wollongong in Q Block, Level 2, Room 5. Start time is 9.30am. Please bring something with you to take notes (such as a book, laptop, or iPad).
