Description: The Certificate IV in Tertiary Preparation is a Year 12 equivalent qualification with an emphasis on skill-based learning as well as discipline-specific content.

It is a recognised tertiary entry qualification by the Universities Admissions Centre (UAC), NSW universities and some interstate universities.

In addition, for Western Sydney University applicants, TPC graduates gaining TES scores of 168 out of 300 or above have guaranteed entry into many bachelor degree programs. This criteria will determine your exact fee. Students who meet additional specified criteria, may be eligible for a concession fee or a fee exemption. In claiming the concession or exemption students will be required to supply the required evidence to support the claim in accord with the requirements of Smart and Skilled eligibility.

Payment Plans are available through TAFE NSW for Smart and Skilled eligible qualifications.

To activate your eligibility you must pay the student fee component PRIOR to commencement of the learning activity.
Comments: First day of attendance is on Monday 11th February 2019, starting at 9:00am, in Block L, Floor 2, Room17, at TAFE NSW Wollongong.

Fulltime students will be required to attend 4 to 5 days each week, Monday to Friday, during semester for a total face to face commitment of 16 hours per week.

Classes will run between 9.00am and 3.30pm. Attendance days and times will vary depending on the elective units selected.

Please bring pens, pencils, a notepad and a scientific calculator if you intend to enrol in Mathematics.
You will need to wear covered shoes for Biology and Chemistry classes as these classes are conducted in a laboratory.
