Description: This course is designed for people who have experienced barriers in engaging in vocational training or the community.

On completion of this course the learner should be able to participate in a learning environment, vocational education and the community. 
Entry requirements: There are no essential entry requirements for this course. 
Learning pathways: The Course in Vocational and Community Engagement is an entry level course and provides a potential pathway into other training package qualifications and accredited courses.

There are no formalised articulation arrangements in place for this qualification 
Career opportunities: This course will help you to develop some of the skills and knowledge you need to access work and training opportunities and participate in your community. 
Support for students: TAFE NSW has a range of support services available including support for students with disabilities, extensive library and information services, career advice and counselling, children's centres and support for multicultural or Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students. No matter what your circumstances are, TAFE NSW can assist you in many ways.

Fee explanatory text: This training is subsidised by the CSO Funding. Students must meet certain criteria to be eligible to enrol in this course.

Students who meet additional specified criteria, may be eligible for a concession fee or a fee exemption. In claiming the concession or exemption students will be required to supply the required evidence to support the claim in accord with the requirements of Smart and Skilled eligibility.

Payment Plans are available through TAFE NSW for Smart and Skilled eligible qualifications.

To activate your eligibility you must pay the student fee component PRIOR to commencement of the learning activity.
