10727NAT Certificate I in Spoken and Written English is a beginner course for learners who have just started learning English and who may have had minimal exposure to the language.
It provides English language learning for EAL learners, primarily targeting newly arrived migrants and refugees who need to develop language skills to participate in a limited range of contexts.
The recommended entry point against the ISLPR® scale is 1- across the four macroskills of listening, speaking, reading and writing. The recommended entry point against the ACSF is Pre-Level B.
