Description: This course has been designed for qualified plumbers who are working in industry where hot water temperature control devices (including Thermostatic Mixing Valves or TMV’s) are installed.

New regulations relative to the installation and maintenance of these valves requires that only licensed qualified people will operate in this field of plumbing. The practical component will be taught in a specially equipped classroom, and examination on completion trains the plumber in Hot Water Temperature Control Device work. 
Entry requirements: Students must hold a current trade certificate in Plumbing or be a registered or licensed plumber.

About: This course is for plumbers who want to gain a Statement of Attainment in Thermostatic Mixing Valves. You must have successfully completed the water unit in the Certificate IV in Plumbing or equivalent.

The proposed start date will be the 8th May 2019 and will run for 4 consecutive weeks. Applicants must be registered or licensed plumbers in New South Wales.

Participants must bring along to each class the latest versions of the following Australian Standards:
AS/NZS 3500 Plumbing and Drainage sections: Part 1: Water Services, Part 4: Heated Water Services and Part 0: Glossary of Terms As well as their own writing and standard drawing equipment.
This course is for plumbers who want to gain a statement of attainment in BackFlow Prevention. Must have successfully completed the water unit in the Certificate IV in Plumbing or equivalent
