Description: The successful completion of the four units in this course will enable the participants to obtain the skills to effectively and safely milk dairy cattle.. They will also learn how to install electric fencing and muster cattle using quad bikes. 
Other requirements: Participants must have an interest and affinity with dairy cattle.

TAFE NSW is offering a two week training course at Bega Campus.
Learn the skills and knowledge required to work as a casual relief milker in the dairy industry.
Benefits of working as a relief milker include: flexible work conditions, work with animals, outdoor lifestyle, the ability to move into a full dairy qualification (Certificate 3 Agriculture (Dairy) and career.

This course also provides:
Completion of on-the-job experience on local dairy farms which may help you to secure employment.
