Description: This new Licensee Course is mandatory training for anyone wanting to hold a liquor license in NSW. 
Entry requirements: You are required to hold a current Responsible Service for Alcohol (RSA) endorsement on your NSW competency card to undertake this Licensee course. 
Support for students: TAFE NSW has a range of support services available including support for students with disabilities, extensive library and information services, career advice and counselling, children's centres and support for multicultural or Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students. No matter what your circumstances are, TAFE NSW can assist you in many ways.

About: It’s all happening at TAFE NSW InfoFest, 24 - 28 June 2019.

At InfoFest you can attend information sessions to hear from teachers about specific course content and delivery, and have all of your questions answered. You’ll also get the opportunity to tour the campus and view our state-of-the-art facilities, guided by friendly and informative staff, happy to assist you with course information, help with your enrolment, or provide you with great career advice.

Registration for information sessions and tours opens in May, so please check back for listed options at each location.

All students must hold the Responsible Service of Alcohol Competencey. The Tiered Industry Training Framework builds on existing Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) training and enhances the professionalism of the liquor industry. The new training courses include:
-Licensee training - for most licensees, approved managers and club secretaries.
-Advanced Licensee training - an additional course for those who may operate a business in a higher risk environment, such as businesses authorised to trade after midnight. The Total Amount of Training Hours for this product is: 6 hours.
-The Total Amount of Assessment Hours for this Product is: 1 hour.

Licensee training is for licensees, approved managers and club secretaries. Licensee training covers a range of topics including:
-Understanding the relevant liquor laws and regulations that impact on the licensee
-Knowing the responsibilities in managing a NSW liquor licence
-Understanding the responsibilities of a licensee to manage alcohol related harms in their business
-How a licensee, manager or club secretary can implement strategies for the business to improve operations
-Understanding the consequences of non-compliance and what that means for the licensee.

Payment of course fee must be made PRIOR to commencement of learning activity.
