Description: This one day workshop in Mental Health Awareness is aimed at those currently working in the health and community services sector and other similar sectors. This training will offer an understanding on how mental health can affect the lives of individuals and communities and provides a framework in which to respond. 
Entry requirements: There are no entry requirements

Scheduled attendance: Attendance will be on Friday the 10 of May 2019 at TAFE NSW Bega Connected Learning Centre 199 Auckland St, Bega. This course will run for 4 hours, delivery times will be confirmed by teaching staff.

About: Participants will gain insight into major mental health conditions, treatment options and referrals. You will learn about key values and principles of the mental health sector, including recovery oriented practice, duty of care and dignity of risk considerations.

Fee explanatory text: This training is not subsidised by Government funding. There are no fee exemptions, concessions or subsidies available for this course.

Where Fee for Service is being sponsored by an employer or third party organisation an official purchase order or contract arrangement must be in place to activate the student’s enrolment.

Payment of course fee must be made PRIOR to commencement of learning activity.
