Description: This course provides skills and knowledge required to design and to develop assessment tools used to guide the collection of quality evidence, including their application in formative, summative and recognition of prior learning (RPL) assessment.

It applies to experienced practitioners responsible for the development and/or delivery of training and assessment products and services.

Scheduled attendance: This course is delivered by a combination of workshops and online learning materials. Workshops will be held from 9.30am to 4.00pm on Thursday 24 October, Friday 25 October and Thursday 31 October in Room JG03 at TAFE NSW Shellharbour.

About: Once enrolled you will be given access to the online learning materials.

It is important you attend the three intensive workshops as it is planned that some assessment components will be completed during this time.

Please provide evidence of your TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment qualification and provide an up to date resume outlining your industry knowledge and experience in your industry sector.

It is essential that learners studying this course have access to a home computer with internet and have the technology skills to access and navigate the internet and be able to use word processing software; have access to a computer with Microsoft Office programs - Word, PowerPoint; have access to a computer with reliable internet access; be a self-directed learner in the context of a supportive online learning environment; sound language, literacy and numeracy skills.

This course is designed for existing VET Practitioners who already hold TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and are currently teaching for a Registered Training Organisation (RTO).

Where Fee for Service is being sponsored by an employer or third party organisation an official purchase order or contract arrangement must be in place to activate the student’s enrolment.
