Description: This course provides skills and knowledge required to design and to develop assessment tools used to guide the collection of quality evidence, including their application in formative, summative and recognition of prior learning (RPL) assessment.

It applies to experienced practitioners responsible for the development and/or delivery of training and assessment products and services.

Scheduled attendance: This course is delivered by a combination of workshops and online learning materials. Workshops will be held from 9.30am to 3.00pm on Thursday 9 May, Friday 10 May and Friday 17 May at TAFE NSW Shellharbour.

About: You need to be enrolled prior to 29 April. Once enrolled, on 29 April you will be emailed access information for the online reading materials that you need to familiarise yourself with prior to the workshop dates.

It is important you attend the three intensive workshops as it is planned that some assessment components will be completed during this time.

To enrol in this skill set you should ideally already hold the Certificate IV Training and assessment qualification (TAE40110) and be working as a trainer and assessor.

Fee explanatory text: This training is not subsidised by Government funding. There are no fee exemptions, concessions or subsidies available for this course.

Where Fee for Service is being sponsored by an employer or third party organisation an official purchase order or contract arrangement must be in place to activate the student’s enrolment.

Payment of course fee must be made PRIOR to commencement of learning activity.
