Description: This course has been designed for qualified plumbers who are working in industry where hot water temperature control devices (including Thermostatic Mixing Valves or TMV’s) are installed.

New regulations relative to the installation and maintenance of these valves requires that only licensed qualified people will operate in this field of plumbing. The practical component will be taught in a specially equipped classroom, and examination on completion trains the plumber in Hot Water Temperature Control Device work. 
Entry requirements: Students must hold a current trade certificate in Plumbing or be a registered or licensed plumber.

About: **STUDY COMMITMENT**
This is a Face to Face Part Time Evening course. You will need to attend approximately 5 hours of class, 1 day a week, for 4 weeks, and will run subject to sufficient enrolments. You will also be required to do private study.

Other information: **COURSE ENTRY REQUIREMENTS**
To be enrolled in this course, you need to be able to provide evidence that you:
- Have successfully completed the water unit in the Certificate IV in Plumbing or equivalent

To successfully complete this course, you will need:
- Participants must bring along to each class the latest versions of the following Australian Standards AS/NZS 3500 Plumbing and Drainage sections: Part 1: Water Services, Part 4: Heated Water Services and Part 0: Glossary of Terms as well as their own writing and standard drawing equipment.

To activate your account, go to https://my.tafensw.edu.au and login with your username and password, which was created as part of the online enrolment process and/or included on your receipt. Call us on 131 601 if you need it to be reset.

Once logged in, change your password and create 3 secret questions and answers.
