An important step is to attend the orientation session on Wednesday 31 July 2019 from 9.00am at Goulburn TAFE, Main Campus, Verner Street, Goulburn, building C, level 1, room 11. Please bring your enrolment receipt to orientation.

This is a Flexible delivery option with Student workshop days on Thursdays 9.00am to 4.00pm fortnightly to a month apart.

This course is aimed at students wanting to expand their knowledge in working with animals and those who may want to follow a pathway into Veterinary Nursing. This qualification is a general industry qualification for persons operating at an assistant level and undertaking animal care functions in an animal care workplace.

Fee explanatory text: This training is subsidised by the NSW Government, and as a result your fee is determined through Training Services NSW formal eligibility criteria. This criteria will determine your exact fee. Students who meet additional specified criteria, may be eligible for a concession fee or a fee exemption. In claiming the concession or exemption students will be required to supply the required evidence to support the claim in accord with the requirements of Smart and Skilled eligibility.

Payment Plans are available through TAFE NSW for Smart and Skilled eligible qualifications.

To activate your eligibility you must pay the student fee component PRIOR to commencement of the learning activity.

Scheduled attendance: Commencing Monday 4 February 2019 via Flexible delivery using Online resources, Adobe Learning sessions and attending workshops at TAFE.

About: This is a Flexible (Distance Education) delivery option. Students must have a minimum of 8 hours per week work experience (paid or voluntary - can be completed in blocks) in the Animal Care industry during the course and will be required to attend workshops to support their skills training. These workshops will be held at TAFE NSW Yallah Campus (Wollongong). Your work placement will need to be confirmed prior to your enrolment being successful. Your resources and assessments will be accessed online using Moodle and there will also be online live sessions on a regular basis for which you will need computer access.

Comments: Orientation will be held at TAFE NSW Yallah Campus Room AF11 on Wednesday 30 January 2019, 9.00am to 12.00pm. Please ensure that you have made a payment for your course before attending so we can finalise your enrolment. Your teacher will then contact you directly during the first week of Semester 1, 2019 to organise access to your online training material and provide you with a timetable.

Commencing Tuesday 4 February 2019. This is a Flexible (Distance Education) delivery option. Students work using online resources on Moodle at their own pace. Students must have work (paid or voluntary) of approximately 6-8 hours per week or equivalent in blocks in the Animal Care industry and will be required to attend occasional workshops to support their skills training. These workshops will be held at TAFE NSW Yallah Campus. Online Adobe learning sessions occur regularly throughout the course.
