Description: This qualification allows individuals to develop post-trade skills and knowledge to become specialists within the agriculture industry. It is designed to meet the needs of supervisors or team leaders in the agriculture industry.

Individuals with this qualification will take responsibility for their own work and for the quality of the work of others within known parameters. They provide and communicate solutions to a range of predictable and sometimes unpredictable problems. 
Entry requirements: There are no formal entry requirements for this course.

It is assumed that you have literacy, numeracy and technical skills at Certificate III level for success in this course. Contact your TAFE NSW campus if you have any questions about your suitability.

About: **STUDY COMMITMENT**

This is a Blended Part time day course. You will need to attend approximately 8 hours of class, over 1 day a week for 1 year. As well as the in-class component, you will need to complete approximately 12.5 hours of other study per week.

You may also be required to complete approximately 9 hours of additional study each week outside of class hours, including Self-directed learning such as research, private study and preparation for assessments.

There will be off campus practical sessions throughout the course including some weekend attendance. You will be required to complete structured unsupervised learning off-campus which will include prescribed readings, assessments, case-studies and projects.

About: This is a Blended Flexible course. You will need to attend approximately 7 hours of class, 1 day per week, for 1 year. As well as the in-class component, you will need to complete approximately 25 hours of other study per week, which will include practical skills workshops organised during the course at the Yallah campus where you will have access to the campus livestock and farming equipment. Your teacher will provide you with an individual time table at the time of enrolment.

You may also be required to complete approximately 2.5 hours of additional study each week outside of class hours, including independent study, research, practice and assignments.
