RPL OFFERING ONLY Students must already hold a Cert III Mechanical qualification in order to be eligible for this course. Please contact the teaching section on 131 601 if you wish to discuss your eligibility further.

This course is a post-trade bridging course specifically designed for individuals that already hold a Cert III Automotive Mechanical qualification. Individuals will meet the requirements of the qualification through a combination of classroom delivery and submission of an RPL portfolio that reflects their existing skills and knowledge. All participants will be assisted through the RPL process by the Teaching Section.

A delivery timetable will be provided on the first evening of attendance.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Policy: Students are required to supply and wear PPE - this includes safety boots, cotton drill trousers, cotton rich shirt and safety glasses.

In claiming the concession or exemption, students will be required to supply the required evidence to support the claim in accord with the requirements of Smart and Skilled eligibility.

To activate your eligibility you must pay the student fee component PRIOR to commencement of the learning activity.
Other information: To be eligible for this course, you will need to have exposure to work on Heavy Commercial Vehicles to apply the skills and knowledge gained throughout your studies and to meet specific unit assessment requirements.
