Licensing/Regulatory Information
National Standard for Licensing Persons Performing High Risk Work
The National Standard for Licensing Persons Performing High Risk Work applies to persons performing dogging and rigging work. Completion of the following units is required for certification at either basic, intermediate or advanced levels:
CPCCLDG3001A Licence to perform dogging
CPCCLRG3001A Licence to perform rigging basic level
CPCCLRG3002A Licence to perform rigging intermediate level
CPCCLRG4001A Licence to perform rigging advanced level.

National Code of Practice for Induction for Construction Work
Sets and staging for some performances or events may fall within the definition of construction work. If so, people entering the construction site are required to complete the general induction training program specified by the National Code of Practice for Induction Training for Construction Work (Australian Safety Compensation Council, May 2007). Achievement of the unit ’CPCCOHS1001A Work safely in the construction industry’ from the CPC08 Construction, Plumbing and Services Training Package fulfils this requirement.

About: **STUDY COMMITMENT**

This is a Full Time Face to Face course. You will need to attend approximately 16 hours of class, over 3 days a week, for 36 weeks. As well as the in-class component, you will need to complete approximately 6 hours of other study per week.

You may also be required to complete approximately 6 hours of additional study each week outside of class hours, including Private study, work experience and research, assignment preparation..

This course offering is designed for people who:
- Students will either come from working in industry in junior roles, school leavers or have completed introductory educational screen programs such as the Certificate IIV in Screen and Media. These students will want to develop existing skills in camera work for film/tv, video and audio editing, writing content for screen and media and animation.

You will be provided with a timetable, assessment guides, advice about additional materials you may need to purchase and information on the support services available to you.

Activate your student portal account which allows you to check your results, see fees and payments, and download your timetable.

To activate your account, go to https://my.tafensw.edu.au and login with your username and password, which was created as part of the online enrolment process and/or included on your receipt. Call us on 131 601 if you need it to be reset.

Once logged in, change your password and create 3 secret questions and answers.

Speak with customer service staff on campus to get your TAFECard which gives you special access to printing, copying and other services.
