Description: This qualification reflects the job roles of employees with functions that could include financial data entry, processing accounts and payrolls, providing customer service in financial transactions, and producing financial reports. **STUDY COMMITMENT**

This is a full time, face to face course. You will need to attend approximately 20 hours of class, over 4 days a week, for 18 weeks. As well as the in-class component, you will need to complete approximately 9.5 hours of other study per week.

You may also be required to complete approximately 5 hours of additional study each week outside of class hours, including private study, assignment preparation and research.

**IS THIS COURSE RIGHT FOR YOU?**

This course is designed as an entry level qualification for those learners who are new to the finance sector. You will learn accounting principles and develop and apply specialised knowledge in the use of spreadsheets and accounting software, such as MYOB. This course develops the foundation skills, attributes and competencies to operate as an Office Assistant, Accounts Assistant, Accounts or Payroll clerk/officer in a large or small business.

To activate your account, go to https://my.tafensw.edu.au and login with your username and password, which was created as part of the online enrolment process and/or included on your receipt. Call us on 131 601 if you need it to be reset.

Once logged in, change your password and create 3 secret questions and answers.

Speak with customer service staff on campus to get your TAFECard which gives you special access to printing, copying and other services.
